The shops are opening soon..

Friday 12th June 2020, and the shops are opening next week despite more than a 1,000 new cases of Covid-19 being discovered per day. I had been making one or two very careful visits to Liverpool city centre during lockdown, to experience the quiet apparent desolation of the the city, but this would be the last for a while, I really don’t fancy being in any crowds just yet, despite very much missing the vibe of the bustling city.

So on this last visit for a while I packed my Nikon F2 & F4 with some Tri-X and Orwo UN54. My aim was to try and capture some of the unusually tranquil mood of the city before all the people returned, here are some of the photos I took.
